The icon bar is your control center for navigating MissionaryConnect.
There are two ways to use the map:
- Activate Map Mode (Kiosk Mode)
This is what your church displays publicly. Members can interact, but settings are locked. - View Map Mode (Admin Mode)
This allows you to explore the system and access settings. You can make changes and manage content here.
Each icon below helps you move through your church’s missions in a simple, visual way.
QR Code Icon #
“Connect on Your Device”
Tap this icon to open a QR code that members can scan.
By scanning, they can register at MissionaryConnect with their:
- Name
- Password
Once approved, members can view missionary profiles right from their own device, staying connected throughout the week.
Globe Icon #
“Experience the Spinning Globe”
Tap this icon to launch the Interactive Spinning Globe.
This is one of the most unique features of MissionaryConnect. You can:
- Spin the world
- Zoom into regions
- Explore missionaries in a dynamic, engaging way
It brings your missions program to life right in front of your church.
Flat Map Icon #
“See the Big Picture”
Tap this icon to view a 30,000-foot view of your church’s global missions outreach.
This flat map gives you a clear overview of where your missionaries are serving around the world. It’s a great way to quickly understand your church’s reach across countries and continents.
Card Icon #
“Browse All Missionaries”
The four-square icon represents your supported missionaries and ministries.
Tap this to see a complete list of every missionary your church supports. From here, users can easily select and view detailed profiles.
Settings Icon #
“Return to Admin Settings”
Tap this icon while in View Map Mode to go back to your Admin Settings Page.
From there, you can:
- Manage missionaries
- Adjust display settings
- Control what your church sees
Screensaver Icon #
“Keep Missions in Front of the Church”
This icon looks like a TV monitor.
Tap it to activate the Screensaver Mode, which automatically displays missionary content.
- Only available in View Map Mode
- Not available in Activate Map Mode (Kiosk Mode)
This is perfect for lobbies, before services, or anytime you want missions continuously visible.
