Password Management #
Keeping your MissionaryConnect account secure is simple. You can either change your password while logged in, or reset it if you cannot access your account.
Change Your Password While Logged In #
If you are already signed in to MissionaryConnect, you can update your password from your account area.
How to change your password #
- Click the user icon in the lower area of the screen.
- Select Account from the menu.
- Scroll to the Account Security section.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password.
- Confirm your new password.
- Save your changes.
How to reset your password #
- Open the Forgot Password page.
- Enter the email address connected to your MissionaryConnect account.
- Submit the form.
- Check your email for a password reset link.
- Click the link in the email.
- Enter your new password.
- Confirm your new password.
- Submit the form to finish resetting your password.
Tips for a Strong Password #
Choose a password that is:
- at least 8 characters long
- hard for others to guess
- not reused from another website
- stored safely in a trusted password manager
A strong password helps protect your church account, missionary information, and administrative access.
My reset link does not work #
Password reset links can expire. If your link no longer works, go back to the Forgot Password page and request a new one.
I entered my current password and it was rejected #
When changing your password from the account area, make sure you are entering your present password exactly as it was originally set.
