    How MissionaryConnect Works

    AI Doc Summarizer Thinking Thinking

MissionaryConnect works in a modern web browser like Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, and others. It works best when set up in kiosk user mode or on a provisioned Android device.

It is designed to help churches organize missionary information and present it in a clear, visually interactive way for their congregation.

The platform works by bringing together missionary profiles, church information, and media updates into one centralized system that can be displayed on screens accessed through a web browser.

    1. Churches Create Their Missions Display #

Each church subscribes to MissionaryConnect and receives access to the platform where they can build their Missions Display.

MissionaryConnect can be updated from any device with a browser. Those changes are instantly available.

Church administrators can add the missionaries their church supports and organize their information inside the system. This includes details such as:

    • Missionary name and family
    • Field of service and location
    • Sending church or mission board
    • Prayer letters
    • Photos and videos
    • Contact and ministry information

Once added, each missionary becomes part of the church’s digital missions display.

    2. Missionary Profiles Are Created #

Every missionary listed in the system has a dedicated profile page. These profiles allow churches to present missionaries in a consistent and organized format.

Profiles may include biographical information, ministry updates, prayer letters, and media that help church members better understand the work taking place on the field.

Missionaries can create a profile at MissionaryConnect.app and can also be invited to Claim their profile. They will be able to add information so their profiles remain current.

    3. The System Displays Missionaries Visually #

MissionaryConnect presents missionary information through several visual display formats designed to make missions easy to explore.

Church members can browse missionaries through:

    • Interactive World Maps
    • Profile Cards
    • Image and video slideshows
    • Missionary Profile Page

These views allow members to quickly see where missionaries serve and learn more about their ministries.

    4. Displays Can Run on Screens or Browsers #

MissionaryConnect is a web-based application. This means it can run on touchscreen displays in a church lobby, on a television screen, displayed on screens in the sanctuary or on any device with a modern web browser.

Many churches choose to install the system on a large touchscreen display or Mission Display” so members can interact with the map and explore missionary profiles before or after services.

    5. Churches Keep Missionaries Visible #

The purpose of MissionaryConnect is not just to store information. The goal is to keep missionaries visible before the church.

By presenting missionaries in a clear and interactive format, churches help members remember what to pray for, who they support, learn more about their ministries, and stay engaged in the work being done around the world.

MissionaryConnect helps churches move from a static missions board to a living, active Digital Missions Display.
