Displaying and Interacting with the World Map #
The interactive world map is the centerpiece of the MissionaryConnect Digital Missions Display. It allows visitors to visually explore where missionaries are serving and easily access their information through an engaging touchscreen experience.
This video demonstrates how users can interact with the map to discover missionaries and learn more about their ministries.
Using the World Map #
Visitors can interact with the map using simple touchscreen gestures.
Rotating the Globe #
Users can drag their finger across the screen to rotate the globe and explore different regions of the world.
Selecting Missionary Pins #
Each missionary is represented by a map pin placed in the country or region where they serve.
To view information about a missionary:

Tap a missionary pin on the map.

A missionary information popup will appear.

From there, users can view additional content about the missionary.
Zooming and Navigating #
The map supports intuitive navigation controls:

Pinch to zoom in or out

Drag to move across the map

Rotate the globe to explore other continents
These controls allow users to quickly locate missionaries across the world.
Missionary Information Popups #
When a missionary pin is selected, a window appears displaying key details such as:

Missionary name

Country or region of service

Organization or sending church

A brief overview of their ministry
Users can then select More Information to access the full missionary profile, which may include photos, videos, prayer letters, and contact details.
